This company is absolute joke!!! They made 2 appointments with me the first they canceled the day before the second they called at 9:26 for a 10:00 am appointment and they aren’t showing up again! I drove 3 hours to meet Adam and this is the type of service they give!! Please think about this when you attempt to get an estimate for a huge job!! Don’t waste your time or money!!

The guy that came out to do my estimate was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were very competitive. I felt very comfortable choosing them to do my partial shingle replacement. I was able to get a quick estimate on a Friday and work completed Monday morning.
Contacted Certified Roofing when I found my HOA would not fix my skylight leak. I saw that Certified was ready to give me an estimate right away. Richard B. came by the next day and did a thorough inspection both inside and outside. After a quick confirmation from the office, Richard provided me with a written estimate. The very reasonable estimate was quickly confirmed, and the job was scheduled. The roof part was immediately repaired by Richard and a fellow Certified employee. Richard explained what was wrong and how they fixed it. We scheduled the inside work (plaster and paint) and Richard thoroughly completed the repair and replastering required. The next day he came by to do the prep work and then the painting.

The 5 stars are for the actual work. However, there was an issue with scheduling. I received an email setting 10/16 as the date. When the roofer did not come on that date I called & was told that the date was changed to 10/18. I was not informed of his change and dad to rescheduled to 10/21 because I was out of town on 10/18.

This is at least my 8th job working with Certified Roofing, each on a different house or part thereof. If you're reading this review, then look no further. I recommend you hire them without reservation. Owner Steve Mitchell and everyone under his command are honorable, hard-working, conscientious, responsive, and use their best efforts to do the job properly the first time. As a more exacting customer than most, they've earned my respect and business time and time again. Go get other estimates, then compare the costs. You'll see their prices are always fair, but their workmanship is superior. They do a better job installing products. They clean up better. The employees will look you in the eye and give you honest answers. They are my go-to residential roofing contractor as long as I have a roof over my head. In this last project, they removed old decking material and worked cooperatively with a window and door contractor I chose to install new decking. The attached photos show the attention to detail they paid to my job to do it right. And when I've had other repairs or rare warranty work, they've responded promptly, and addressed the issue completely. They will sell you a quality product that lasts, and they stand behind their work. Certified has earned my trust.
At 78 yrs of age, we are skeptical of businesses we have no prior relationship with. We received estimates from 3 companies. Certified matched the others but we also heard the owner's testimony. I am a Vietnam veteran and trust his word. It was a slow startup due to shipping delays. Ms. Tabitha was key to being patient. She worked with us every step of the way. As a long-term consumer, I realize some help she provided was over and above her normal duties entailed. The plus factor was the worker's professional demeanor. They began and finished the installation, removed and cleaned up the area. So far, we can't ask for a better result. This winter will be the test.

Don’t bother using a different roofer other than certified. They’re the only ones that have showed up, provided a same day estimate, added my project to the schedule and got it done. Various other roofers were not as attentive and or would ghost. Highly recommend but hopefully won’t have to use them again as my roof is fixed! If I do need roofing needs again they’ll be a the only ones I’ll use.

I needed immediate repairs for a couple of areas on my slate roof causing an inside leak. Certified Roofing were the first to respond. Javier promptly showed up. Diagnosed my issues. I appreciate how this company works from beginning to end. When I initially called, they sent two roofers to inspect the roof to see if repairs could be made right away. When they saw that it was not the case, they let me know and scheduled me with a member of their sales team about a roof replacement. Their cost happened to come in at the low end of the estimates that I had from other companies. The work was done in a day, with the workers starting about 7:45 and finishing about 3:30. The pictures they provided afterwords show an awesome job.

The Craftsmanship of the crew is top notch. I used them for a Cedar Shake roof on a historic house with a very steep pitch. Crew took meticulous care in the quality of the work. This included clean up. I highly recommend certified. Very responsive.

The estimate of the cost was done in a friendly way, not a sales pitch, fully explaining what was to be done and the certifed quality that was to be employed. When we were ready to get things done, we contacted them for an updated quote, signed the contract that explaned in detail what was to be done. After giving the go ahead, we were scheduled in a short time. They did not accept any down payment to begin and finish the work. The roof installation was done in a day, with the roofing materals delivered the prior day. Instalation personnel were friendly and got everything done in a meticulous and professional way. The cleanup at the end of the day left everything in its place with nothing that needed any further cleanup.
